It’s official! Actress, Bukky Wright joins political race in Ogun

The league of actors turned politicians have been swelled by Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright who’s said to be running for a position in the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, under the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Wright joins other celebrities like Dayo Adeneye, 9ice, Kate Hendshaw, Tony Tetuila, Desmond Elliot and others who have opted to try their hands in the game of politics. The more the merrier – that’s what they say. Check out her campaign poster below: Ogun State ex-governor, Olusegun Osoba is the de facto leader of the SDP in the state after dumping the All Progressives Congress (APC) several weeks ago. The SDP is gaining momentum in the South west state but it is yet to be seen how much harm they can do in Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s political stronghold.
